Jaime Narvaez, a Juarez, Mexico & El Paso, TX. native, is a very established DJ and producer, and one of the very few DJs in recent years that has stood out and caught the ear of some of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas’, Miami’s and other major cities in the House and Dance Music Industry in the US.

DJING:
Jaime has been djing for 18 years, and his desire to share a cutting edge sound with people, and his flair for mixing the right track, dropping accapellas, introducing new sound loops to remix on the fly while maintaining a live rapport with the crowd is what makes Jaime stand out from the rest.
Jaime, has managed to establish his own sound that crosses boundaries and breaks rules. His musical range and style and taste, takes inspiration from when he was introduced to Disco since he was in the womb, by his parents professional disco dancing days. Jaime’s inspirations come from classical to jazz, salsa & samba and from rhythm & blues to Disco. Jaime has recently found his love for drumming performing Live on Stage with Congas, Bongos and Timbales.

PRODUCTION
His new found love and passion for producing his own music has kept him busy during the last 2 years. He built his own studio at home and has taught himself by watching tutorials and hands on using Ableton Suite 9, and doing his own mixing and mastering using Izotope Ozone 7 & 8 Advanced, Izotope Nectar 2 & Izotope Neutron. Thus far this year of 2017, he has gotten 48 solid original tracks signed to very good record labels, like Stanny Abram’s record labels Abracadabra Recordings -Ljubljana, Slovenia and G-Stoned Recordings – Vienna, Austria, Lex Loofa’s record label Fett Recordings, Scotland, Klaphouse Records : Milan Italy, Haustronaut Recordings – Ibiza, Spain, Traum Recordings – Germany, Disco Balls Records – Miami, Florida, Blue Orb Records, San Francisco, Bonzai Basiks – Brussels, Belgium, Water Bear Records – Los Angeles, Tree Musik Recordings – Amsterdam & others. Some have been released, in which you can find on beatport, traxsource and iTunes, the others will be releases in the next couple weeks and months, and more in the making.

WEEKLY RADIO SHOW
Jaime is the host and resident DJ of Hollywood After-Hours — a 2 hour weekly radio show on SUBSTATION – UNITED WE DANCE®. Heard every FRIDAY at 9 PM/Pacific on your way out (and again at 2 AM Saturday mornings) on the way to the After-Hours! With an average of 15K listeners every Friday night. Jaime is the co-creator and resident DJ of RISE “When the Morning Comes” and SOL “After After Hours Sounds of L.A.” both events have been going strong for 15 years in the heart of Hollywood. Also creator of the events Discotek and Discotech, Cityscape, Nectar “Fresh Music, Funky People”.

Jaime currently holds rotating residencies at some of the best after-hour parties and always putting on events on the weekend and during the week at all the hots spots in Los Angeles. Jaime has played all over the country recently in San Francisco, Miami FL, Phoenix AZ, Dallas TX, El Paso, TX, Austin TX, Denver CO, Las Vegas, WMC, BPM, and many clubs in Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, Clubs in Paris -France, Italy- Rome, Spain – Barcelona, Full Moon Party – Thailand, Kho Phi Phi, Krabi, Puket – Thailand, Bali, Costa Rica, Indonesia, and recently in Shanghai & Hong Kong -China.
